Dinner with friends. The wine was flowing freely. By dessert we were loose. Everyone started opening up. Talking about stuff. The past. The Present. What the future holds. They talked about their lives. Their goals. Their fears. It was intense. Kaya was into it. Expressing herself. All of her concerns. I was quiet. Listening to her. Listening to them. It was just too fucking much.

My head was overflowing. It was building within me. I wanted to let it out. We got home I lost it. I grabbed her. Hugged her tightly. She asked me what was wrong. I didnt know what to tell her. So I told her it was nothing. Then I started crying. I dont know why. I guess I was afraid. She tightened her hold on me. Pressed her warm body against mine. It felt nice. It was what I needed. She held me through the night. In bed. Under the warm covers. Our bodies entwined. Crying kissing and caressing.

The pressure of life. Sometimes it overwhelms. Every now and then you just need release.
