Its so beautiful here. Especially out on the beach. Its hard to imagine the tragedy that occurred. Im staying here with Kaya. But Im by myself. I feel so alone.

Kaya wasnt exaggerating. She wrote about the child. She said Maddy was attached to her hip. I thought she was joking. But she wasnt. The child wont leave her alone. She follows her everywhere. They sleep together. Eat together. Bathe together. I cant seem steal Kaya away. Not even for a few minutes. Not even at night.

Kaya asked for patience. But I dont have time for patience. I want my fair share. Ive missed her so much. All I want is a couple hours. Its been so irritating. My frustration level is up to here. I feel so jealous. So angry. But then I feel like an ass.

The girl lost her family. Her father. Her mother. Her sister.

Its unimaginable. What if that happened to me? What would I do? How would I react? And at five years old. Shes just a child. I cant blame her. The trauma shes experienced. That shes still experiencing. I have no right to express jealousy. Or anger.

Then theres Kaya. I was expecting more. Its been three months. I thought she would be... I dont know. More emotional. I thought she would be experiencing the same things. The same hunger.
